Carlos Eduardo Cava received his M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in material science and engineering from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) in 2006, and 2012, respectively. His Ph.D. was supervised by Prof. Lucimara S. Roman with a sandwich in KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, supervised by Prof. Clas Persson. He is a currently the Associate Professor at the material science engineering department, at the Technological Federal University of Paraná (UTFPR). His current research interests are in nanomaterials, gas sensors and solar cells.
