Ementa: Mecanismos quânticos de interação elétron-fóton. Estrutura de bandas dos semicondutores; Propriedades eletrônicas dos semicondutores. Propriedades óticas dos semicondutores. Homo-estruturas e Hetero-estruturas. Guiamento ótico em semicondutores. Dispositivos foto-detectores e fontes óticas de semicondutor.
