O campo acústico: Mapeamento de campos acústicos de transdutores. Equipamento de ultrassom: Equipamentos operando nos modos A, B, M, C e Doppler; Controle de qualidade em equipamentos de ultrassom. Efeitos biológicos do ultrassom e segurança: Possíveis danos a tecidos biológicos; Técnicas para medição dos níveis de exposição; Normas de segurança.
