Cooperation and Exchange

Partner institutes | Professors' collaboration

The internationalization programs signed by UTFPR guarantee to academics the completion of part of the course in the partner country, enabling the exchange of students and teachers. Partner institutes include the University of Minho, the Polytechnic Institute of Porto and the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (Portugal), and the Université de Technologie Compègne (France). This international institutional interaction adds many opportunities for student development, being critical to their education. The teachers of this proposal have contacts and cooperation with researchers from national and international institutions, as described below.

 

Adelmo Lowe Pletsch (Natural Products and Sustainability)

He has a technical-scientific agreement that aims to meet a demand that, from the public interest point of view, meets the needs of the participating institutions, involving UTFPR Campus Santa Helena and Campus Medianeira with UNICENTRO, providing the strengthening of the technical-scientific relations between the institutions, facilitating the establishment of the undergraduate courses and postgraduate programs lato and stricto sensu, as well as enabling the exchange of teachers and students, based on the technological cooperation and project sharing. Almir Manoel Cunico (Ecosystems and Natural Resources)

He has collaborations with Prof. Dr. Angelo Antonio Agostinho, researcher at the Center for Research on Limnology, Ichthyology and Aquaculture (NUPÉLIA) at the Maringá State University; with Prof. Dr. Jean Ricardo Simões Vitule from the Ecology and Conservation Laboratory of the Federal University of Paraná; with Prof. Dr. Éder André Gubiani from the Fishing Resources and Limnology Research Group of the Western Paraná State University; with Prof. Dr. David Allan of the School of Natural Resources of the University (USA).

 

Daian Guilherme Pinto de Oliveira (Natural Products and Sustainability)

He has a technical-scientific agreement with the UNIOESTE Agricultural Biotechnology Laboratory, Cascavel Campus, with the goal of strengthening the technical-scientific relations between the institutions as well as the exchange of human and financial resources. He maintains a collaboration with Prof. Dr. Luis Francisco Angeli Alves (UNIOESTE, at the aforementioned laboratory), which has allowed the development of several partnership projects, master's co-orientations and publications. He also has a collaboration with Prof. Dr. Ítalo Delalibera Jr from the Luiz de Queiroz Superior College of Agriculture - ESALQ / USP, and with Dr. Rogério Biaggioni Lopes from CENARGEN - Embrapa Genetic Resources and Biotechnology that has resulted in joint publications.

 

Daniel Rodrigues Blanco (Ecosystems and Natural Resources)

He has collaborations with Prof. Dr. Orlando Moreira Filho of the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), with Prof. Dr. Roberto Laridondo Lui and Prof. Dr. Vladimir Pavan Margarido of the State University of Western Paraná (UNIOESTE), with Prof. Dr. Marcelo Ricardo Vicari of the Ponta Grossa State University (UEPG) and Profa. Dr. Carla Simone Pavanelli of the State University of Maringá (UEM) and curator of the Ichthyological Collection of the Limnology, Ichthyology and Aquaculture Research Center (Nupélia), which resulted in several publications and participations in research projects.

 

Dejane Santos Alves (Natural Products and Sustainability)

She has a collaboration with Prof. Dr. Geraldo Andrade Carvalho, entomologist, full professor at the Department of Entomology of the Federal University of Lavras, Minas Gerais. Partnerships and publications together with the other colleagues of the aforementioned department, such as Prof. Dr. Ronald Zanetti Bonetti Filho, a specialist in Forest Entomology and Prof. Dr. Rosangela Cristina Marucci are worth mentioning. Since 2004, she has been partnering with Prof. Dr. Denilson Ferreira de Oliveira, chemist, a specialist in Natural Product Chemistry, which has led to the formation of an interdisciplinary research group. She also has a partnership with Professor Dr. Adalberto Hipólito de Sousa (Federal University of Acre), with whom she participates in the Technologies for Agricultural Production for the State of Acre research group. The recently consolidated partnership with Prof. Dr. Luis Francisco Angeli Alves, State University of Western Paraná, Cascavel, is also highlighted. This partnership has enabled the co-orientation of a master student of the UNIOESTE Environmental Science Program.

 

Denise Lange (Ecosystems and Natural Resources)

She has collaborations with researchers from other institutions, specifically Profs. Dr. Kleber Del Claro and Vanessa Stefani, both from the Federal University of Uberlândia, Prof. Dr. Hipólito Ferreira Paulino Neto of the State University of Minas Gerais and Prof. Dr. Wedson Desidério Fernandes of the Federal University of Grande Dourados, with whom she has published several scientific articles and participated in research groups. The partnership with Prof. Dr. Kleber Del Claro extends to the co-orientation of postgraduate students: two masters co-orientations completed at USP, Ribeirão Preto Campus; a doctorate in progress also at USP Ribeirão Preto; and a master's degree co-orientation completed at the Federal University of Ouro Preto. Another collaborating researcher to be highlighted here is Marcelo Oliveira Gonzaga, through whom came the invitation for her to participate in the recently approved INCT-CNPq notice. Denise Lange also has a partnership with Ph.D. Wesley Francisco Dáttilo da Cruz, a researcher at the A.C. Institute of Ecology in Mexico, with whom she has published four recent scientific articles, as well as book chapters that are to be released soon.

 

Edicléia Aparecida Bonini e Silva (Natural Products and Sustainability)

She has a collaboration with prof. Dr. Osvaldo Ferrarese Filho of the Plant Biochemistry laboratory of the State University of Maringá (UEM) and with Prof. Dr. Patricia da Costa Zonetti of the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR).

 

Eduarda Maria Schneider (Natural Products and Sustainability)

She has collaborations with researchers from other institutions, for example, Professors Dr. Fernanda Aparecida Meglhioratti and Dr. Lourdes Aparecida Della Justina, both from the State University of Western Paraná, who work in the Biological Sciences course and in the Masters in Education and Education in Science and Mathematical Education. This partnership results in collaborations of research and publication of articles and books, as well as two ongoing Master's degree co-orientations in the Environmental Education line. With Professor Dr. Maria Julia Corazza of the State University of Maringá (UEM) in the continuation of research and publications of her doctorate. She also has contact and a research partnership with Prof. Dr. Graça Simões de Carvalho of the University of Minho - Portugal with whom she studies the quantitative research approach in science education research.

 

Erika Izumi (Natural Products and Sustainability)

She has a collaboration with Prof. Dr. Celso V. Nakamura (Maringá State University) focusing on projects with antimicrobial activity of bioactive molecules and with Prof. Dr. Sueli F.Y. Ogatta (State University of Londrina) in the field of microorganism genetics. She is a collaborator in the PRONEX-Araucaria Foundation 2016 “Center for Multidisciplinary Excellence in Research and Development of Pharmaceuticals, Medicines and Cosmetics” project, coordinated by Prof. Dr. Nakamura

 

Heleno Brandão (Ecosystems and Natural Resources)

He has a collaboration with the Full Prof. Reinaldo José da Silva, Biologist and Professor at the Department of Parasitology, Institute of Biosciences of the Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" State University, UNESP, Botucatu/SP Campus and Assistant Prof. Assistant Igor Paiva Ramos, Biologist and Professor of the Biological Sciences and Animal Science courses, with experience in the area of Ecology and Conservation of Natural Resources, with the Department of Biology and Zootechnics of the Faculty of Engineering of Ilha Solteira (FEIS) of the Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" State University (UNESP), which resulted in the publication of scientific articles, books, book chapters and research projects.

 

Jociani Ascari (Natural Products and Sustainability)

She presents collaborations with Prof. Dr. Domingos Sávio Nunes who provides technical-scientific support in the phytochemical part and with Prof. Bárbara Fiorin with whom she has partnered for the use of analysis of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, both from Ponta Grossa State University-PR. She has a collaboration with prof. Dr. Najeh Maissar Khalil (Midwest University of Paraná) for the confection of nanostructured systems having two articles recently published. She has a collaboration with the Department of Organic Chemistry of the University of Cádiz in Spain, to perform biotransformations and biological analysis in search of bioactive molecules. She has a collaboration with Prof. Dr. Michel Otuki (Federal University of Paraná), who collaborates with the pharmacological analysis of essential oils and plant extracts. She has a solid collaboration with researcher Dilamara Riva Scharf (FURB - Regional University of Blumenau) who performs the analysis of Gas Chromatography Coupled with Mass Spectrometry.

 

Kelyn Schenatto (Natural Products and Sustainability)

She has a collaboration with Prof. Dr. Eduardo Godoy de Souza from the Agricultural Mechanization and Precision Agriculture laboratory of the Western Paraná State University at the Cascavel campus, with which she participates in the research group: Optimization of Western Paraná Agroindustrial Systems, where she has publications in common and full support in the agricultural part; with Prof. Dr. Shrinivasa Upadhyaya of the University of California, who she has a jointly published book chapter and the sending of a joint publication with, and where she held her Ph.D. sandwich period. Prof. Shrinivasa is a specialist in irrigation projects aimed at saving water resources. With professors Dr. Claudio Leones Bazzi and Dr. Silvana Ligia Vicenzi, together with the Postgraduate Program in Computational Technologies for agribusiness, she participates as co-advisor of students of the program at the master level.

 

Leonardo Biral dos Santos (Ecosystems and Natural Resources)

He has collaborations and contact with researchers, notably experts from the Celastraceae botanical family, such as Dr. Julio Lombardi, from the Paulista State University (Unesp), Dr. Mark P. Simmons, from the Colorado State University (CSU), where he held a sandwich doctorate, and Dr. Robert Archer, from the South African National Biodiversity Institute. These partnerships have resulted, and will result, in joint bibliographic production. In addition, he has collaborations with other researchers from the Paulista State University (Unesp) and the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). He is a collaborator in the research projects “Flora of Brazil 2020 (coordination: Botanical Garden of Rio de Janeiro) and “Flora of Argentina” (coordination: The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and INTA, National Institute of Agricultural Technology).

 

Maristela Rosso Walker (Natural Products and Sustainability)

She is a collaborating professor linked to the Graduate Program in Languages - Language and Identity of the Federal University of Acre.

 

Rejane Barbosa de Oliveira (Natural Products and Sustainability)

She has a collaboration with Prof. Dr. Daniela Aparecida Chagas Paula (Federal University of Alfenas) in a project that aims at the chemical analysis and the biological activities of species of the Lauraceae family. The project is in its initial phase of execution and will result in joint bibliographic production.

 

Vagner Aparecido Cavarzere Junior (Ecosystems and Natural Resources)

He has constant collaborations, which resulted in several publications over the years, with Prof. Dr. Luís Fábio Silveira, curator of the bird section of the University of São Paulo's Zoology Museum (MZUSP). He is also in contact with researchers from the Postgraduate Program of the Paulista State University (UNESP), in the Rio Claro Campus.

 

Vanessa Bueno da Silva (Ecosystems and Natural Resources)

She has collaborations with Prof. Dr. Vladimir Pavan Margarido of the State University of Western Paraná (UNIOESTE), with Prof. Paulo Cesar Venere from the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT), with Prof. Dr. Marcelo Ricardo Vicari of the Ponta Grossa State University (UEPG) and Prof. Dr. Claudio Henrique Zawadzki of the State University of Maringá (UEM), which resulted in publications and participations in research projects.
