Full Programs
Undergraduate programs
The admission process for full undergraduate programs is made through Sisu. This Ministry of Education system classifies the students according to the scores obtained in the National High School Exam (Enem).
If you come from one of the countries that participate in PEC-G, you can also apply to do a full undergraduate program at the Embassy or Consulate of Brazil in your country. For more information, click here.
Graduate programs
The admission process for full graduate programs is made through public calls, with variable schedules and systems for each program. Specializations may receive applications during the year. Master and Doctorate programs usually receive applications on the second semester. The process normally consists of a written test, curriculum and research project analysis and an interview.
UTFPR runs two types of Masters: the academic master, open to those who hold an undergraduate degree and fulfill the Programme requirements; and the professional master, aimed at those candidates who, besides fulfilling the requirements, work for companies where their job tasks are related to the programs.
If you come from one of the countries that participate in PEC-PG, you can also apply to do a full graduate program, funded by CAPES (in case of Doctorate programs) or CNPq (in case of Master programs). For more information, click here (only in Portuguese).
